What To Know Before Your Tan​
Spray Tan prep

Start exfoliating 2-3 days before your appointment using scrub e.g St Tropez Body Polish to remove any dead skin cells and prep your skin for the tan. Ensure exfoliation is done the day before your appointment for a fresh base.

It is recommended moisturise the skin daily for 2-3 days leading up to your appointment to keep your skin hydrated. Do not apply moisturiser before your appointment.

Ensure any hair removal such as waxing or shaving should be completed at least 24 hours prior to the appointment to reduce sensitivity and maintain the tan.

Do not apply any self-tan, perfume, deodorant, or aromatherapy oils on the day of your spray tan.

On the day of your appointment please arrive with clean, dry skin that is free from make-up, deodorant and body lotion as this can act as a barrier to the tanning solution.

Dress Code:

Wear loose-fitting, dark clothing to avoid any transfer of the tan onto your clothing

You can be undressed to your comfort for your spray tan. You will be offered disposable underwear or you can wear your own, just make sure they’re not your favourite and go for black. If you would like to wear a top of any description for your tan, please bring one with you, we recommend an old black bra or bikini top if you wish to tan with a top on.

Please avoid waxing or shaving on the same day as your tan appointment (before and after). Any other beauty services such as manicures, pedicures and facials should be done prior to your session.

St. Tropez Classic Spray Tan - £40
Women may wear disposable spa underwear, your own underwear, swimsuits, or nothing at all. We advise you to wear loose, dark coloured clothing and open toed sandals. Do not wear white clothing, tight clothing, bras or jewellery. (Tight fitting clothes can cause skin friction in the first few hours after your spray tan, and this may affect the outcome of your tan.)

Which tan is right for me?​
Spray tans take 4-8 hours to develop, so try not to let your skin get wet in that time. Unless you opt for the Express Mist, which allows you to control your depth of tan. Rinse it off after 1 hour to look like you’ve spent a weekend in Paris, 2 hours for a week in the Caribbean or 3 hours for that 2 weeks in Bora Bora bronze!

Rinse off our Classic Professional Mist after:

4-8 hours – for a Beautiful, Natural-Looking Golden Glow (a deeper tan can be achieved with additional spray layers)

Do’s & Don’t’s

DON’T panic when you see colour going down the drain when you rinse off your tan – this is the guide colour and bronzers, as long as you have let your tan develop your tan will not wash away!

DON’T wear anything too tight after a spray tan and opt for dark clothing. Once the tan is developed and the guide colour is rinsed, you can show off your tan in a lovely little white dress!

DO rinse your tan off with your hands and warm water ONLY, then use washcloths and soap after 24 hours. Pat skin try to keep tan even.

DO keep skin moisturised to prolong the wear of your tan.

DON'T scrub at your skin until wanting tor remove the tan.
